MARCH WRAPPED
My most boring wrapped yet!
MARCH WRAPPED
Out of the three months of 2023, March was the one that undeniably overstayed its welcome the longest. But the latter half of this month has just flown by and we are now entering the loveliest season of all, spring! Let’s hope spring is a fruitful and pleasant season for us all, especially the ones who have been fighting (and losing) idgaf wars up and down my timeline. Let’s walk the flowery path together guys!
MUSIC
Although cut short by Ramadan, this month’s playlist managed to capture the essence of spring better than the weather. With a heavy focus on fresh sounds, I’ve probably curated my favorite playlist of the year. Here are some of the songs that stood out to me:
Daydream by The Aces
If you need to learn one thing about me, it’s that I love girl bands. Everything about this song (except for its frugal length of 2:31 minutes) is pure perfection.
Gameboy by Shampoo
Again, I love girl bands.
I Know Alone by Haim
And again, I love girl bands.
Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows by Alemeda
I took this song quite literally and decided “hell, me too!”
BBIBBI by IU
To me, IU is a one-hit-wonder and this song is her only hit. I can’t ever get enough of this song.
Cupid - Twin ver. by Fifty Fifty
Needn’t say more. Everyone is obsessed with this song (as they should be).
For Granted by Yaeji
This might be a strong contender for my SOTY.
prism by m-flo
Who doesn’t want to synchronize and crystallize their retro vision?

FILM
Surprise, surprise, another horrible movie watching month for me! But nevertheless, I managed to scrape up enough movies to make a list:
SCREAM VI (2023) by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett
LATINAS STAY WINNING!
Wuthering Heights (2011) by Andrea Arnold
Anticipate a review ;)
Cocaine Bear (2023) by Elizabeth Banks
I just LOVE Keri Russell. The review.
Reservoir Dogs (1992) by Quentin Tarantino
This is exactly how me and my sisters play a round of mafia.
Fitzcarraldo (1982) by Werner Herzog
If I'm back here, and you're back here, then who's driving the boat?
Girlhood (2014) by Céline Sciamma
This movie shone bright like a diamond to me. The review.
TELEVISION
Well… just point and laugh guys. I did not neglect film for television, that’s for sure.
The return of the Yellowjackets has everyone, including me, pumped. I love a weekly television show to have in my repertoire. And Succession has also returned, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the first (and thus far only) episode yet.
This segment would be much more fun if I told you what’s on my watchlist for April instead. The goal is to finish Twin Peaks and Mob Psycho 3. And hell, if I find time for it, I’d love to rewatch Hunter X Hunter.
PURCHASES & OBSESSIONS
I’ve somehow managed to not purchase anything of significance, yet I’m running low on funds. Fun!
I’ve been obsessed with bleaching my eyebrows, but I burnt too much off so I had to quit doing that. The Rosalía coke tastes like perfume to me, but I love the Lewis Hamilton Monster energy drink.
I don’t know what to even say here guys, it’s been a REALLY dry month.
MARCH INTO MARCH
This month I joined a challenge to see how many steps I could accumulate in March and well… I didn’t disappoint. On average I walked 11k steps a day. But for the entirety of March I walked *drum roll* a whopping 345500 steps! I have no idea how to say that number out loud but I’m really prada myself…
